REmap 2030 is IRENA's roadmap showing how the world can double the share of renewable energy in the global energy mix by 2030.
REmap is built on strong country-level analysis and engagement. Mexico was one of the first REmap countries and IRENA has worked with the Mexican Energy Secretariat (SENER) in the preparation of a comprehensive REmap country report that presents the REmap results for Mexico in greater detail. The report gives an overview of the important benefits of higher renewable energy uptake in the country and policy needs to achieve Mexico’s significant renewable potential.
This country launch event was hosted by SENER and took place on the sidelines of the 6th Clean Energy Ministerial Meeting and Climate Partnership of the Americas Meetings from 25-26 May. For more information, please click here.
